IN 2010 LINK has been invited to participate and perform in the ACT Festival in Bilbao Spain from the 1st – 13th June. The company will present Dances for Small Spaces and premiere Cooking Notes. In week two the dancers will be involved in a workshop with theatre students from the BAI school in Bilbao to expand and recreate Memorial the new work from the company’s Artistic Director Michael Whaites. After this time the dancers will have the possibility to do various secondment and workshop opportunities. Montpellier Dance Festival, Juildans in Amsterdam and Anouk van Dijk’s Summer Intensive to name a few. In early July a re -expansion of Memorial will take place in Madison, Wisconsin with dancers from LINK students from the USA, Taiwan and Brasil. LINK has also been offered a residency from the 12th – 18th July at the Baryshnikov Arts Centre in New York.
