IN 2011 for the international tour LINK performed on the same program as Transitions Dance Company from London at the ITS Festival in Amsterdam from the 27th-30th June. The company presented Ricochet Action and participated in a workshop with Transitions whilst in Amsterdam. The company then travelled to Montpellier, France, where they were hosted by Didier Theron who provided a presentation opportunity to perform Ricochet Action in Movement Sur la Ville Montpellier, throughout the week the company viewed performances of international contemporary dance companies and had the opportunity to soak up the sun in the south of France. After this period the company was in residence at the Performing Arts Forum in St Erme for a creative development for Michael Whaites’ new work Poem for an Ailing World. After this time the dancers had opportunities to do various secondment and workshops throughout Europe before returning to Australia.
LINK’s annual East Coast Tour will perform at Dancehouse 30th Nov and at iO Myers Studio Theatre UNSW 3rd & 4th Dec.
